To create this glass cleaner spray, mix the ingredients and put the mixture into a spray bottle.

When you combine the white vinegar and alcohol, you have a glass and window cleaner that swiftly evaporates and is just as good as the big-name brand cleaners. This spray also works as a homemade oven glass cleaner and you can use it on chrome, ceramic, and other hard surfaces.

Homemade Cornstarch Glass Cleaner

Glass and windows surfaces aren’t completely smooth. In reality, they have little pits across the surface that catches water, creating spots and streaks. The cornstarch in this homemade glass cleaner shatters the water bonds, producing a spot-free, shiny, and streak-free finish. It works excellently in cleaning water spots on the glass as well.

DIY Cornstarch Glass Cleaner Recipe

  • ¼ cup rubbing alcohol
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • One tablespoon cornstarch
  • Two cups of water

Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle. Be sure you shake the spray bottle good to completely dissolve the cornstarch. Put the solution on your glass surfaces and windows, wiping until the glass is clean.

This solution also works excellently as a homemade degreaser for the glass surfaces and windows in your kitchen. The vinegar and alcohol cut right through the grease to leave glass surfaces gleaming once more.

If you don’t wipe the cleaner completely off the surface of your windows or glass, though, the cornstarch will leave a residue. This defeats the purpose of cleaning it in the first place. So, make sure to wipe the entire surface. This formula is great for getting dirty glass surfaces and windows clean, functioning as the ideal homemade affordable cleaner for window screens.
